In orderto Engross you towards the Banking Sector the SBI has came up with the various vacancies in PO(Probationary Officer).SBI has released the official notification in which the Exam Pattern of SBI PO 2019 for Prelims, Mains and Descriptive Test was mentionedand all the candidates are requested to go through thebelow statedExam Pattern so as to catch the opportunity to be a part of SBI.

SBI PO Selection Procedure

  1. Phase I: Prelims Examination
  2. Phase II: Mains Examination
  3. Phase III: Interview andamp; Group Discussion

Phase-I : Preliminary Examination: Preliminary Examination (online) consisting of Objective Tests for 100 marks will be conducted online. This test would be of 1 hour duration consisting of 3 Sections as follows. Each test will have a separate timing as mentioned below.

  • Qualifying marks for GD and Interview will be decided by the board.
  • Group Discussion will carry 20 marks and Interview will carry 30 marks.
  • In caseGroup Discussion is cancelled, Interview will carry 50 marks.

2. IBPS Clerk 2019 Eligibility Criteria

Age (As on 01.12.2019):

Minimum: 20 years Maximum: 28 years

i.e. A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.09.1990 and not later than 01.09.1998 (both dates inclusive)

Educational Qualification:

The eligibility criteria for the IBPS CWE Clerk exam isGraduation Degreein any of the streams such as BA, BCom, BSc, B.Tech, etc., from a University recognized by the Government of India. The percentage of marks obtained in Graduation should be mentioned at time of registration for the IBPS Bank-Clerk examination.

3. IBPS Clerk Selection Process:

The candidate gets selected for the Mains examination after clearing the Preliminary test. After securing the marks equal to or more than the cut-off marks in Mains a merit list is produced. A candidate should qualify both in the CWE (Main) and be sufficiently high in the merit to be shortlisted for subsequent provisional allotment process, details of which will be made available subsequently on IBPS website.

The IBPS Clerk selection Process Consist of mainly three phases as follows:

1. IBPS Clerk Preliminary Exam 2019

2. IBPS Clerk Mains Exam 2019

4. IBPS Clerk Preliminary Exam Pattern

It consists of a paper of objective type (multiple choice questions) and carries100 questions(max. 100 marks).This is a screening test only to qualify for the next step and its marks will not be counted for determining their final order of merit. There will be Sectional Cut off marks and Sectional time limit for prelims and mains exam.

5. IBPS Clerk Mains Exam Pattern

It will also consist of a paper of objective type (multiple choice questions) like IBPS Pre test but carry a maximum of 200 marks.

It will also consist of a paper of Objective type (multiple choice questions) like IBPS-Pre test but carry a maximum of 200 marks to be solved in the duration of 2 hrs.

Its salient features:

  1. It consists of 5 sections viz. Reasoning, English Language, Quantitative Ability, General Awareness (special emphasis on Banking) andamp; Computer Awareness.
  2. Each section is time bound and one cannot move from one section to another before completing the stipulated time specified for that section.
  3. Each section has to be attempted in the order given at the time of Mains Exam.The candidates who cleared thecut-off both overall and section-wisefor this exam will move tointerview.
  4. The marks obtained in this test along with interview will determine the merit list for the finalselection.
